It is now official, our DC event to celebrate passage of the Lymphedema Treatment Act will be held on Monday, May 22nd and Tuesday, May 23rd!
Registration will open on Saturday, April 1st. We have secured our hotel room block and are close to having the other necessary reservations made. We encourage you to book a room in our group block so you get the best rate, have the convenience of staying at the location of the celebration dinner, and can travel to and from Capitol Hill the following day with other participants.
An itinerary is below. Festivities will begin at 6:00pm local time on Monday, May 22nd. The exact timeline for Tuesday, May 23rd is still in limbo, but will be solidified by the time we open registration.
As soon as we are ready to open registration, it will be announced in this newsletter. We hope you can join us to celebrate this monumental achievement!
ITINERARY
Monday, May 22nd:
Celebration Dinner, 6:00-9:00pm local time.
Will be held in the ballroom at the hotel.
Tuesday, May 23rd:
Awards Ceremony for our Congressional Champions.
Thank-you meetings with your members of Congress.
Both of these activities will be on Capitol Hill – times TBD.
