If you were unable to join us for one of our two live sessions last week, or if you know someone who would be interested in receiving this information, we now have a recorded tutorial to prepare advocates for participating in the upcoming Public Comment Period for the LTA rules. Click Here to View the Video Tutorial
The rules will specify things such as how many garments a patient can receive at once, how frequently they can be replaced, and many other important details surrounding the coverage. The Public Comment Period is your opportunity to say what you do and/or don’t like about the draft rules before they are finalized, and shape the final outcome.
Everyone is encouraged to participate, however, there is precise protocol that must be followed. Further, each person is only allowed to submit one comment, so it’s very important that you be well-prepared. We suggest you also review this Commentator’s Checklist, which is full of tips for submitting effective comments.
If you have questions after watching the video, reviewing the checklist, and consulting our Frequently Asked Questions Document, please respond to this email. Thank you for your advocacy!
