Ensure that Your Health Insurance Company Follows Medicare’s Precedent and Includes Compression Coverage in 2024!
The Lymphedema Treatment Act requires Medicare coverage for lymphedema compression garments and supplies to begin on January 1, 2024. Most other public and private health insurance policies follow Medicare precedent, but there is no law requiring them to do so. The administrators of other insurance policies may not even know about the Medicare coverage changes, which is why it’s so important that they hear from you!
