I was diagnosed with Vascilitis in 2007. The Vasculitis blew through my legs, vein and muscle tissue. My legs became very painful, heavy, and fragile, Any small cut would cAuse them to weep for days.
My doctor noticed that my legs were getting bigger and more misshapen and suggested I get treatment for my Lymphedema.
Thanks to a wonderful therapist. The bandages, Flexitouch machine and the nightitime compression garments AND my daily compression garments I am leading a normal, productive life.
But without insurance and coverage for these items. I do not think I would even be alive now to write this statement!
