I have a happy update for you. After 15 months, Blue/Cross CareFirst (I am insured through my employer) has finally relented and let me get my custom compression garments again. The Lymphedema Treatment Act guidelines were instrumental and your support during this time was crucial and helpful to me. I truly believe that patience and persistence pays off. I didn’t do this alone – you, my benefits coordinator at work got involved, and I just kept pushing.
