I strongly believe that this amendment needs to be passed immediately!!!! I am on disability and very low income. I have had lymphedema since 2004.. and is an on going situation and needs to be continuously treated. The requirements are that you get new garments year to keep this in control these garment can NOT be bought over the counter they are cutomed ordered to fit that piticular person and their needs.. most times you have to go back in for some treatments and bandaging.before the new garments can be ordered.these garments start at $150 and go clear up to $2000 per piece and you have to have two sets of everything.one to wear and one to wash I’m my case I have 5 layers put on each leg.. before my new garments…. Because of me not having proper care… I had to go to the hospital 9-18-13 to 10-18-13 which is fine month to the tune of $80000 for that month stay. I had lymphedema celluitus and a sever staff infection my lower right leg I was a very sick lady.. this Act NEEDS to be passed for preventitive medicine we the people that have this needs the help desperately… Please pass ACT!!!!!!
