More calls are urgently needed – whether your Senators are cosponsors or not – because we need their help getting the Lymphedema Treatment Act scheduled for a Senate vote!
Without a Senate vote, the bill will “die” at the end of this Congress and we’ll have to start all over again next January. We are so close, we can’t let that happen. If you haven’t yet, please use our Senate Call Action Alert to ask your Senators to make sure the Lymphedema Treatment Act gets a vote before this Congress ends.
Most offices have after-hours voicemail, so you can call anytime and simply leave a message. If you haven’t used one of our call action alerts before, we have a quick video tutorial to show you how it works. And if you still feel uncertain, watch this comprehensive video where members of our board talk through frequently asked questions and demonstrate making a call.
To thank you for doing your part, next week, on Giving Tuesday, rather than asking for donations, we will be giving away three compression garments. The winners will be drawn from everyone who calls both of their Senate offices between now and midnight on Monday, November 28th.
