Next week is a recess week for Congress, meaning that members will be home in their states and districts. Some will be attending July 4th celebrations and others will be holding Town Hall meetings.
Here are three ways you can find out about these events, which are often announced with very little notice:
* Check the list at Town Hall Project. You can also sign up to be automatically notified when one of your members of Congress schedules an event.
* Go to your members’ websites – House / Senate.
* Check your members’ social media accounts. Some even hold virtual Town Halls oncFacebook.
