Now that we have an active bill we are glad to be able to provide you with the above email option. The form will match you to your Representative using your address, and it knows whether or not he or she is already supporting the bill and will provide you with the appropriate template letter. If you prefer to call, which is always the most effective, click here for that information.
While you may be disappointed if your Representative was not an Original Cosponsor, do not mistake that for an indication that he or she is not supportive. Every office has a different process for evaluating bills. While the turnaround time was sufficient for many, for others it was not, and they simply did not make the deadline.
Congress is in recess this week, but hopefully next week we will see our cosponsor numbers rise for both our House and Senate bills. Thank you for your support, and I hope your summer is off to a great start!
