Susan’s Story

I was given (84) 20mg prednisone for allergic reaction. Was in college and 2 semesters left for my degree. I developed lymphedema, neuropathy and several other side effects. Was told by 2 specialist I was bedridden. The pain is excruciating day and night. I have lymphedema in both legs and upper edema. I used to care for my family and enjoy my grandchildren but that was taken away. Fishing was my hobby but that also was taken. Now due to new laws I have been without my meds for over a month. The pain is so intense and a crippling side effect I have been contemplating suicide to end the suffering. Please help us to get the relief that this disease ravages my body with. I am only a burden to my family and don’t have much more to lose. Please help me cause I can’t help myself! Sincerely Susan, I’ve seen compression garments that could help me and make my life a little better but there outta my reach. Even 5th graders invented a sleeve to help people like me but I can’t get them…..please help us….we didn’t cause this disease and it needs to be recognized!
