I am 40 years old with lower left leg lymphedema for 6 years. I’m a heavy male 6 foot 2 400 pounds six years ago while walking to my car I had a pain in my left putter ankle the next day there was a lump on my outter ankle left leg no pain. Thought it was a hemotoma put never got it chked continued to work had two children at the time the lower leg started to swell to the point I couldn’t get my work pants on anymore then one day the leg started hurting I went to my doc who then told me to go right to the hospital that I was very sick with cellulites I was hospitalized two weeks on iv anti biotic I gained 50 more pounds cause I couldn’t move so I was,approved for ssdi in like six months but now I’m in a bi.d in my state I don’t have Medicare till next June and am 120 a month over for Medicaid I can’t go to therapy anymore as I have no insurance it takes control of Ur life the lymphedema low grade fevers constantly watching for infections the ups and down of the leg
